Ah, the sounds of summer: the music of the ice cream truck, the cicadas singing their deafening song, and the wild shouts of “Fore!” as rouge golf balls fly about the course. That last one is our favorite and it’s coming to a golf course near you (Arrowhead Golf Course to be specific) on August 12.
You might remember our 4th Annual KD Kanopy Cares Golf Tournament from the golf-cart-driving, food-eating, charity-benefiting good time you had last year. Or this blog post we wrote on it back in April. For the past three years, we’ve put on this tournament to benefit the Friends of Kids in Crisis, a Colorado-based organization dedicated to the support of abused and neglected children.
Aside from 18-holes of fun (and charity), the tournament also sponsors a silent auction and raffle. That’s where you come in! We’re about two months away from the tournament date and we’re in need of more silent auction and raffle items: golf equipment, signed memorabilia, hats, shirts and whatever else you’d like to donate.
