Starshade® 400

Our mid-sized StarShade can provide covered space for a variety of outdoor events, shows, or displays.

The KD StarShade tent is a tension fabric structure supported by a single center-pole and ground up tension. The StarShade 400 stands 19.6’ tall, spans a 43 foot diameter, and seats approximately 44 people at banquet tables. The StarShade tents fold down into 3 carry bags, which fit in the trunk of most standard vechicles. The Unique Design of the StarShade was invented by KD Kanopy. The six elegant arches give added visual appeal and, at 7‘6” high, offer ease in entering the covered area. Quickly set up the StarShade 400 in about 40-60 minutes.

Printing:

Set Up

Step 1

To Establish the center of the area you wish to cover you can take the cable provided and stretch it out from end ring to end ring.

Step 2

Take cable and put end ring on over stake. Extend holding the center ring out until cable is tight. This center ring will be where your first stake is located.

Step 3

Leave the end ring on the center stake, take the other end ring and drive in the spike, now place over first stake. Again stretch out holding ring until tight. This is where the second stake now goes. You will now see a triangle.

Leave the end ring on center stake. Remove rings from stake 1 and 2. Take other end ring and place on stake 2, stretch out holding center ring. Continue to locate as shown by b, c, d, and e.

Step 4

Take all shoes and slide over stakes.

Step 5

Your tent should be totally stretched out over the ground with each shoe attached to a stake.

Step 6

Your tent should be totally stretched out over the ground with each shoe attached to a stake.

Step 7

Take pole with dome, slide one pole into fitting, then another and so on. The pole should have the dome on top, all others in between and the last pole should be the one with the jack.

Step 8

Insert assist bar into the hole in the jack pole. Take center pole that was assembled and with 2 people go under the canopy. Carrying the pole and dome ring with hand on assist bar, attached center dome to strapping under top in center.

Step 9

After attached continue to put pole upright until it is resting on center stake. Remove assist bar. Take jack handle out of case, attach to jack shaft. Turn clockwise.
