Make sure all parts are in the box. You should have the following:
A (Qty 4) Square tubes with one end having a slight angle
B (Qty 4) Square tubes with one end having a 45° angle
C (Qty 4) Short square tubes with two push pins
D (Qty 2) Short “Y” shaped square tubes with two push pins
E (Qty 2) Square tubes with a 90° on one end and two push pins
F (Qty 1) Square tube with two holes (one on each end)
Take one short square tube with two push pins (C), one square tube with one end cut with slight angle (A) and one square tube with 45° angle (B). Slip the small tube (C) into the tube with the 45° angle on the end (A) without the bend. The small piece will lock into the hole. Slide the other side of the small piece into the other tube (B) (not the angled end) – Repeat this with the remaining three small pieces.
Take one “Y” shaped piece (D) and connect one of slight-angled cut end from one of the pieces that was just assembled (A,C,B). Repeat this on the other side of the “Y” piece. Repeat the instructions above for a second completed piece.
Take one assembled piece shown above. Take one piece of Part E and insert the 90° angled piece into the top of the assembled piece pictured above.
Insert Part F into the open end of Part E that you just put together.
Insert Part F into the open end of Part E on the other assembled side.
Insert the other loose end of Part E (90° angle) into the top of the loose A,B,C and D assembled piece. Your barn structure is now assembled and you should have no spare parts.
After taking everything out of the carry bag, center one person on each side, in line with center scissors beam. Grasp the lower “V” at the center. Both will lift and pull out, stepping away from each other.
Pull frame completely out. Push the leg socket over the button, so that it is resting on top of the button. Do this to each leg in the up, or extended position.
Place the canopy top on the top frame while frame is still on the ground.
Place the top frame into the hole on each of the four corners of the bottom scissor frame that you expanded and locked into place earlier.
Pull the canopy top down to let the frame fill it out. Secure it with the velcro straps attached to the inside of the canopy top.
Lift each leg and slide lower leg extension out until the latching button snaps into the first adjustment hole. The KD Kanopy will be set at the lowest upright position.
For height or leveling adjustment, depress leg latching buttons and slide the lower leg extensions as required to latch at any of the four adjustment holes. Last, put the four ground spikes through each hole in the bottom legs to secure to ground.
