Happy 4th of July (well, almost)! This upcoming weekend is sure to be one of the best of the summer. Whether you’re looking to escape the city for the holiday weekend, or stay in town, there is something for you. We are lucky to have such great clients with so much going on! The Denver Outlaws take on the Boston Cannons this July 4th. Not only will there be a spectacular fireworks show, but the first 5,000 fans at the stadium will receive a free Schlotzsky’s sandwich! The halftime show will feature the adorable Frisbee Dogs from Flyndog Sports. How can you resist!? Tickets are almost sold out so be sure to purchase yours soon.
Wondering where you can go to see some amazing fireworks in the city? The City of Denver Parks and Recreation has you covered. Head to Civic Center Park for the fifth annual Independence Eve Celebration. It features a free patriotic concert by MIX, CU Denver’s award-winning a cappella group; the Hazel Miller Band and the Denver Municipal Band and of course the stunning fireworks finale. The celebration begins at 8pm. Then head to Park Hill Friday morning for the annual 4th of July parade!
Although it isn’t happening this coming weekend, we are so excited for this one! The Colorado Scottish Festival is taking place this August 9th-10th. Celebrate the 51st anniversary of this Scottish cultural experience with bagpipes, drums, food and evening concerts. And that’s just to name a few! Here are the details:
