KD Blog

February is a good month. We are well into 2020 at this point, hopefully your resolutions are really starting to stick, Day Light Savings time is right around the corner, love is celebrated on its own special day and it’s a leap year! You may or may not agree with us about it being a good month but our friends at Bustle might be able to convince ya with this blog they did.

Anyways, let us add a KD Kanopy special to the list of good things happening in February! Now through the end of the month we are giving you 50% off printing on ALL Canopies, Rail Curtains, and Side Panels.

Getting a custom canopy will help you stand out of the crowd, no matter your event. The level of printing we can provide to your branding tool really sets us a part from our competitors and makes us the best. This means YOU will stand out as being the best at your event too. At KD Kanopy, we give you a few options for printing. We know what you’re thinking. Which is better, digital printing, screen printing or dye-sublimation? We get this question all time time, you’re not alone. The answer? None of the above.

While each of these printing processes can give you the end result you want, it’s almost like comparing apples to oranges to bananas. If you’re considering printing on your next canopy or branding tool, check out these tips to determine which method will work best for you.

  • Is your company logo simple? Are you looking for something with just two or three colors? Then screen printing could be the way to go and prove to be more cost-effective.
  • Are you an artist? Or is your brand bold? Digital printing uses “inkjet type” printers capable of printing complex designs, photographs and colors on your entire canopy top. If you want to show off your work or stand out in a crowd, digital printing might be the best route to take.
  • Do you spend most of your time with your canopy indoors? Do you plan on washing your canopy top often? While it’s a type of digital printing, we would recommend the dye-sublimation option for you.
  • Something important to keep in mind – budget. In general, digital printing is more costly than screen printing. Because one of the main costs associated with screen printing are the screens themselves, by reducing colors or cross-purposing screens, we can help lower the cost of your screen-printing project. Both screen printing and digital printing can produce high quality canopies but determining which kind of printing is the “right one” depends on each branding tool and customer.
