Ho Ho Holiday Cheer via Marketing

Share:

Usually cold and blustery December weather gets us feeling festive. But sometimes, we need an extra reminder that the holidays are among us. Thanks to some of our business friends, their holiday marketing campaigns are just what we need. This is the time of year where marketing really takes off. Spreading holiday cheer through ads, décor, and products is what most companies aim to do since Halloween ended a couple short months ago. We always love to share our favorite holiday campaigns. Hopefully we spread the cheer and get you in the mood for Christmas.

Nothing puts us all in the holiday spirit like a friendly Santa Claus holding a refreshing Coca-Cola. Coca-Cola always tugs on our heartstrings with a nostalgic holiday campaign. Since 1931, Santa has been front and center of their holiday ads. Coca-Cola has had him near a Christmas tree with trending toys, wearing his festive apparel while enjoying a Coca-Cola, and listening to all of the Christmas wishes the children give him. Over the years, people have loved seeing this image of Santa, red suit and all. Santa’s suit is red, Coca-Cola’s brand is red. Coincidence? You decide.  No matter what, when we see Santa holding a Coca-Cola, we know Christmas will be here soon.

What’s more festive than some peppermint bark in December? We agree, there’s nothing more festive than Ghirardelli Chocolate Company’s famous premium chocolate. This is their spotlighted effort for holiday marketing. They make for the perfect gift and are a great addition to holiday snacks. Check out their website for ideas on how to make this scrumptious treat the spotlight of your holiday!

Leave it to Starbucks to remind us the holidays are coming with their festive cups. Since 1997, this marketing tactic is something a lot of us look forward to every year. Enjoying a tasty Starbucks beverage is always the highlight of the day but enjoying one in a holiday cup is that much better.
