Should You Have New Custom Products Printed Every Year?

If you have a great product or you are the provider of an excellent service, you are surely aware of the importance of marketing efforts as well. If you had a large set of banners, flags and other marketing materials printed a few years ago and you have been using them ever since, you might be wondering whether it is a good idea or not.

Here are some thoughts about the topic:

  • changes in your design – if, for some reason, you have decided to implement changes in your logo, in your colors or in the wording of your principal slogan, it is a good idea to implement all those changes in your marketing materials as well. Using outdated materials might cause confusion and it might make it more difficult for your customers to connect to your brand, so it might be a good idea to get rid of those old materials;
  • consider the aspect of consistence – if the changes you have recently implemented in your brand design are still compatible with your old business materials, there is no reason why you could not use that older stuff;
  • Consider adding new materials – diversification is always a good thing. If you have experience using certain types of materials, such as flyers and banners, you might start extending your horizon by starting to use step and repeat banners or by getting commercial grade branded canopy tents.
